The best steganography tool
This is a tutorial about how to use a SteganPeg(steganography tool). Try it...
The art and science of hiding information by embedding messages within other is called steganography. A steganography software tool allows a user to embed hidden data inside a carrier file, such as an image or video, and later extract that data. It is not necessary to conceal the message in the original file at all. Thus, it is not necessary to modify the original file and thus, it is difficult to detect anything.
Stegan Peg is one of the best steganography tool which we are going to use. SteganPEG lets you hide any kind of file in a JPG image file. You can attach any file and give a password to hide inside a JPG file. Only SteganPEG can extract your file from that output JPEG image. The output file will act like an ordinary image file and one cannot tell that the image was modified just by looking at it. The interface of the software is simple with fewer options. One can easily use this tool to hide data in a JPEG image file.
How to hide files using steganPeg:
- First, we need to load an image in JPEG file format and set a password. Set an action as embed files into JPEG since we are going to hide files inside a photo.
2)After we press go, it will go to the page where we can add files which we want to hide, it can be a text file, image, HTML file, etc..(any format).
3)Once you add your files, save your stegged image in any folder. Press exit.
4)To view the hidden files, once again open the StegenPeg, now we have to choose action as reading files from JPEG and put the same password which you had used for encrypting files to image. Choose the stegged image and press go.
5)Now you can see the hidden files inside the image, select the files you want to view, and press the save selected button to store the hidden files in a folder.
6)Now you can go to the folder where you have saved the hidden files and view them.
That’s it, this is absolutely simple, to make the best use of this tool just use a high-quality image so that you can embed more files. There will be no difference between the original image and the embedded image, so no one can able spot anything (even the quality will be the same).
