Viewly Alpha is Live !

Today we are launching our bare-bones video platform — Viewly Alpha. Viewly Alpha ships with the most essential features and acts as a scaffold for product development and experimentation.

VIEW Token, the life-blood of the Viewly economic engine is also being unlocked. Publishers are able to use VIEW Tokens to upload videos. Token holders can use their stake to vote for high-quality content, and indirectly reward the best creators through the upcoming distribution game (TBA).

Additional utility is coming with the implementation of on-chain vote delegation (enabling higher security and liquid democracy), name registration, and copyright arbitration. You can follow the development progress on Github.

Forming Canadian and US Teams

The Viewly team is now international, with members from US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Our US and Canadian teams are actively on-boarding content creators.

A product strategy is being developed in collaboration with our newly established creator working group.
