Viewly Participates in Creator Conference: Playlist Live 2018
Playlist Live is an annual convention held in Orlando, Florida, primarily for internet creators, industry leaders, and of course, the fans. The convention has been held annually since 2011, and grown exponentially each year. This year, Viewly was a part of the event.
April was a very important month for the Viewly team, as it signified our strong intent to work more closely with creators and influencers as we build our platform. Over the past weekend, a few members from the Viewly team participated in Playlist Live in Orlando, Florida, with the goal of establishing relationships with leading internet creators, providing insight on tech and creator panels, and discussing Viewly goals with established creators. The event saw the likes of such talent as Christine Sydelko, DangMattSmith, Ricky Dillon, ScottySire, amongst dozens of other YouTube and Instagram talent.
On Friday, our Creative Advisor Brendon McNerney participated in (2) panels, discussing Viewly, new monetization options for creators, as well as new tech and platform capabilities that blockchain technology is enabling today. The rest of the weekend was spent interviewing a handful of creators about platform ambitions and frustrations, educating them on Viewly’s key features, and discussed future partnerships. In addition, Viewly also produced it’s first “Viewly Creators” series videos, live performances from Nick and Matt Hall, Eric Dunn, and Michael Persad. You can check out Eric Dunn and Michael Persad’s performance on the Alpha now.
Playlist Live marks the second creator event we have attended in the month of April, and will be followed up this summer in Anaheim, California with the 9th annual VidCon.
