Dune Part 2 is out now, and Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya are traveling the world to promote it. On February 1, they were spotted in New York City for an appearance on the talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”.The two arrived at the set separately, but they looked exactly alike: black and leather outfits that seemed tailor-made for the sci-fi story of the film.
First up, Zendaya opted for a two-piece from Attico’s S/S 2024 collection, unbuttoning her jacket to her sternum and pairing it with Christian Louboutin pumps, looking as confident as if she’d just fought a battle with alien sandworms and emerged victorious.
Timothy was the epitome of a sophisticated all-black look in Stussy’s sleeveless hoodie, leather pants, and chunky-soled ankle boots — although he took the hoodie off for the show and wore a green knit!
Why not take a cue from Zendaya or Timothy and play with black leather? A deeply pockmarked shirt in a black leather format, paired with bootcut leather pants with long sleeves, will give you a sci-fi, futuristic look! Alternatively, instead of a long sleeved shirt, you can go for a form-fitting leather jacket and gloves for a chic look.
Or how about pairing boots with a rich black leather dress? It’s perfect for those times when you want to dress up but don’t want to feel lightweight. There’s another way to make this sci-fi look work in the summer, instead of winter, and that’s with a sleeveless leather jacket. Pair it with bootcut pants and you’ll have a cool outfit!
And let’s not forget the desert survival scene. How do you wear something that feels combative and protective in everyday life?
How about some key color enhancements? They can be lightweight, and when paired with other items, they can give you a different look.
If khaki is too dull for you, how about something in gray? Wear a gray, sheer top, and match the overall tone of the outfit to calm the eyes. The key is to pair items in similar tones.
