Only 60 percent of Broward County residents have completed the 2020 Census. That’s leaving millions of dollars in federal funding behind, including monies for programs for emergency management, child care, senior living, and other social services within Pompano. The effects of the census last for the next 10 years. Do your part to make sure Broward County receives the federal funding it needs to improve the quality of life of its residents. You can fill out the census online while practicing self-isolation and social distancing. You can also mail in the census or complete it over the phone. Over the next month, census takers will be knocking on doors to get you counted.

The data collected from the census is used for many public programs including Medicare, supportive housing for the elderly, nutrition programs, schools, and others. Find out more about Broward County’s Census here. https://my2020census.gov
