The VIMworld team is excited and proud to announce our next major update in our Early Access journey, VIMworld Web 2.0!
VIMworld Web 2.0 is a complete and thorough overhaul of the entire VIMworld Web platform, with a generational leap aimed at massively improving the user experience and enjoyment of our VIM collectors and community, whilst maximizing the focus and value on the VIM smart collectibles.
The platform upgrade and new design has also been designed to seamlessly integrate with our coming platform expansions.
A New and Enhanced Experience
With the new redesign, we sought to focus on the core components of our platform and ecosystem; VIMs. VIMs are next generation smart collectibles and the key users of our platform are most prominently dedicated VIM collectors.
The new design is designed to satisfy several key factors, including:
- An intuitive, easy-to-use and consistent approach to the platform
- Making VIMs and their beautiful artwork, designed by talented designers, stand out
- Strengthening the emotional connection and bonds between VIMs and their owners
- Building a modular yet beautiful design that is scalable and ready for both new features and devices
- Communicating and maximizing the value of VIMs and VIMworld ecosystem as a whole, through combining the factors above

Consistent Design and Experience
VIMworld Web 2.0 is designed to be modular and consistent. The new design and style choices are meticulously crafted by our expert designers working closely with our senior management team on an almost daily basis.
The result is a beautiful, modern and simple design that is readily communicable with the key users of our platform and ecosystem. The new design language makes feature addition to the platform seamless as well as supporting a wide range of devices, from PCs, laptops to tablets and smartphones.
Brand New Homepage
Users accessing VIMworld.com will be greeted with a brand new homepage with a complete introduction to our platform. It will also feature easy-to-access links to crucial functions, such as our new user onboarding guides, links to VIMventory, and more.
Enhanced VIMventory and VIM Overview
The biggest upgrade that will be noticeable is our redesigned VIMventory system, where we aim to provide a full overview of your acquired VIMs and their associated Treasures and ID numbers.
The new system will also feature a sorting and filter system for dedicated owners that own multiple VIMs for better visibility.
New User Platform Guide and FAQ
We’ve received many questions from the community regarding different aspects of the platform. With VIMworld Web 2.0, we’ve completely overhauled our FAQ section to be a much more comprehensive database of information targeted at new users and veterans alike.
Dark Mode
Another one of the most popular requests we have received will be implemented into VIMworld Web 2.0!
With a click of a button, users can switch between the default light theme of VIMworld with a new dark themed version of the design. The dark themed version is not a simple color inversion, but it is carefully designed and tweaked to maximise visibility and consistency of all features regardless of the theme chosen.
A Foundation For More To Come
When VIMworld Web 2.0 is released to the community, it should be noted that it is only the start of a brand new VIMworld experience for all.
Frequent feature additions and upgrades will be gradually introduced, as well as highly anticipated features like the VIMmarket, which is currently under active development and internal testing.
