VIMworld Double Update: Community VIM Producer Submission Deadline Update & AMA with Jason Redmond, VIMworld’s Marketing Director!
Hello VIMworld community! Today, we’ve got a double dose of VIMworld news for you! Read on for updates about the Dutch VIM Producer Contest and our very first AMA with Marketing Director, Jason Redmond!
King’s Day VIM Producer Submissions Gets An Extension
Recently, we announced a very exciting opportunity — we offered our talented community the opportunity to create a King’s Day themed VIM, in honor of our Dutch community! We want you to share your artistic talents with the VIMworld metaverse and are offering a very generous prize pool!
The winner’s VIM is to be minted and made available in the VIMdispenser for a special King’s Day celebration on the 25th of April. Submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Art and backstory that embodies the Dutch community
- VIM Character Description no longer than 300–500 Characters in length
- VIM Backstory Lore no longer than 500 words in length
- VIM artwork has a minimum of two and a maximum of five evolutions
Updated Submission Timeline
Originally, we had announced that the registration deadline was March 7th, but with global events transpiring and people’s timelines being negatively impacted, we’ve decided to extend this deadline.
Simply sign up on our Community VIM Producer Contest website to access our contest Discord channel and then submit your entry by April 8th at 11:59pm (23:59) UTC and you’re good to go! This will enable maximum participation from our VIMworld family across the planet.
The winning artist will receive 20% of all revenue from the King’s Day Dispenser Event, up to a total of 3,646,580 $VEED (approximately $13,000 USD at the time of publishing). The winner will also receive the first minted copy of the VIM with VIM ID #1. Up to seven Finalists will also receive 1% of revenue from the King’s Day Dispenser Event, up to a total of 182,329 $VEED (approximately $650 USD at the time of publishing).

VIMworld’s First AMA with Marketing Director, Jason Redmond!
We were very excited to have welcomed Jason Redmond to the team back in October with his illustrious background and experience at leading companies under his belt. He has helped us develop new strategies and brought a great deal of new wisdom and knowledge to the role. We think he’s great and we want you to, too!
On Saturday 12 March at 12pm PST (8pm UTC+0), Jason Redmond will give his first VIMworld AMA to the community over on the VIMworld Discord Server, hosted by #VeChain Thorsday host, VETMaik to talk about our Community VIM Producer contest and more!
The format of the AMA will be part question and answer, part AMA, so get your thinking caps on! Questions that are picked by the team will be eligible for $VEED prizes!
