「成功」的定義
「解決問題的人：布朗大學改變世界的商業思考」一書的最後結論中，作者 丹尼．沃謝（Danny Warshay）指出在他的課程和研討會的最後一堂課以有點情緒化的體驗聞名，落淚並不少見。在最後的課程中，他總是分享三件事：賈伯斯的畢業演說、關於成功的一段話，以及表達這個經驗對我的意義。

２. 成功的定義(我特別喜歡這一段對「成功」定義的說明，其中皆未涉及任何金錢、財富)
美國作家蓓西．安德森．史丹利（Bessie Anderson Stanley）對成功的定義：
(1) 笑口常開；
To laugh often and much;
(2) 贏得智者的尊敬和孩童的喜愛；
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
(3) 得到誠實評論家的賞識和忍受假朋友的背叛；
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
(4) 欣賞美好，發現別人最好的一面；
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
(5) 留給世界一點美好，無論是留下一個健康的孩子，一塊園地或是彌補一個社會狀況；
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
(6) 知道即使僅有一個生命活得更加輕鬆只因你曾經活過。
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
這就是成功。
This is to have succeeded.
儘管這些文字鼓舞人心，但除了史丹利之外，不該成為任何人的成功定義。記得熱情，記得目標。
