Venture capital firm Atomico’s State of European Tech report found that 93% of VC funds raised in 2018 went to all-male teams, whereas only 1% went to all-female companies. Google is working with female founders to change this.

Last week Vine Health completed the ‘Google for Startups: Female Founders’ 6 week programme, which has been extended for 3 more months thanks to its great success.

The programme culminated in a celebratory event at the Google for Startups campus, where the 10 female founded companies pitched their business and progress updates to a room full of interested investors and press reporters including Forbes.

With the residency and programme being extended until the end of 2019, Vine Health will be based at the Google campus, working with the teams there to continue their growth and learning. Female founders firing on all cylinders!
