I met Dimitris having gyros at his favourite eatery at the corner of the block. After studying overseas for a year, he missed home. Having this lamb-based kebab wrapped in a pita with fresh tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce was the closest thing to Greece. It looked and smelled good. So I joined him for lunch.
