Hackathon Projects

I have a sweet spot for hackathons. There’s a different high in staying up for 36 hours straight and building things that would/wouldn’t work.

The Team

And me. My job as a Product designer in the team is to initially come up with concepts and design them, devising plans to ship the features, design the product to the last pixel and pitch it before the judges.

TLDR; I make their tech edible.

1. Smart India Hackathon’19 (Grand Prize Winner)

Worked on the design of a web-based application to help the Dr.Reddy’s Lab organize their R&D Data by extracting the useful information from slides thus saving their time to manually look through PPTs and prepare reports.

2. BHacks’19 (Runner-Up)

Designed a Dating app focusing on the security to avoid scammers, fakers, and bots. Devised ways to make the in-app chat more interesting for maximum customer engagement.

3. Prototype’18 conducted by Headout (Runner-Up)

Designed SecTra an app for first-time flyers to check the baggage specifications according to the airline they choose. One of the top 5 best projects presented at Prototype. Check out the design process here.
