Welcome to the March 2024 update for VinuChain!
Ymir Network Upgrade — Testnet now Live!
The highly anticipated Ymir Upgrade for the VinuChain Network is now live on Testnet!
Here’s some of the changes in the pipeline:
- Completely decentralized quota based on a smart contract separate from consensus.
- The option to stake for Quota (free transactions) or regular voting rewards (VC) (Voting for a validator on consensus) or both. To incentivize use of Quota, you will receive more “rewards” than with traditional staking and the lock time will be reduced. On Testnet we will be looking for that balance.
Not long now until we see the upgrade on Mainnet!
