Vinyl craziness? I literally can’t stop…
Over the past 5 years, since the day when I bought on Amazon the cheapest ever (and rather dreadful) vinyl record player, I’ve started to buy records like crazy!
When my budget was tight, I bought cheap original LPs of 1970s-1980s disco, funk and R&B. Later on my taste is music has changed a lot: now I prefer hip-hop, and if we say about R&B, I prefer it to be kinda hip-hop soul — like Mary J Blige, one of my favs. I also love Neo-Soul and Erykah Badu and Jill Stone. I’ve bought all Erykah’s album issued on vinyl ! Actually, all of them were released or rereleased recently, except her Live (1998)…
DiscoGS, where I prefer to buy most part of my records, has an amazing option, enabling customers to create their own vinyl collections and see their net worth. Well, according to this data, as of now my collection equals to Minimum of $1,376.68, with Mediana of $2,565.53, and Max is $5,010.93
Let me know what do you think about my musical taste? I will not be offended — I guarantee )))
Let’s talk tomorrow about investment opportunities when it comes to vinyl market!
