Get ready San Francisco: we’re hosting another free #GoFitYourself event with Sports Basement and TrackGirlz!

Here are all the need-t0-know details:

Date: Saturday, August 26th
Time:
9am — 11:30am
Where: Sports Basement Berkeley
Capacity: Unlimited. Bring all your friends.

It’s your chance to race an Olympian. At this event, you’ll learn Track and Field inspired movements and proper running mechanics from the TrackGirlz Fitness and Nutrition expert, Jennifer Nash Forrester, Olympian and Founder, Mechelle Lewis Freeman, Olympian Deena Kastor and Olympian Alysia Montano.

This will be perfect training for the upcoming SF Bay Half or Twin Peaks Mile — and if you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, do it before early bird entries are gone.

It’ll all kick off at Sports Basement Berkeley, and then the group will head out for some sweaty fun and good times.

Post-workout, we’ll head back to the store for a Q&A with these impressively fit ladies who run on the importance of creating a balanced lifestyle, self-care and their approaches to workouts, nutrition and recovery. Recovery refreshments and healthy snacks will be provided by CLIF.

As a bonus: you can enjoy a 20% discount all day long provided by Sports Basement.

RSVP on our website to get your free ticket here.

A big thank you to Sports Basement, our partners in San Francisco for hosting us at their space! Read more about this quirky local SF sports store and their Presidio location here.
