Israel Imprisoning more Palestinian Children than Ever

February registered the highest number of Palestinian children imprisoned and prosecuted in the Israeli military court system since October 2010, reaching a total of 236, an increase of 5.8 percent from January.
39 children were between the ages of 12 and 15, a 25.8 percent increase from January.
A total of 141 children (59 percent) were held in detention facilities inside Israel in violation of international humanitarian law.
