Qadianis don’t seem to know what they believe. The split in the Ahmadiyya Movement took place because Mirza Mahmud Ahmad sahib wrongly claimed that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was actually a nabi (prophet) and rasool (messenger) and that all those who rejected Hazrat Mirza sahib’s claims are kafirs (heretics) and outside the pale of Islam. Whenever the Qadiani jamaat was under pressure, such as in Pakistan in 1953, they would back track and deny this. As soon as the pressure was lifted they returned to proclaiming these beliefs.

What we are seeing now is that the Qadiani jamaats in different countries are claiming to believe in different things. In Western Europe they resort to the original wrong claims of Mirza Mahmud Ahmad sahib. But where ever they are under pressure such as Indonesia, they revert to the true teachings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, as propounded by the Lahori-Ahmadis. Below is a letter from a Qadiani in Indonesia addressed to the Religious Affairs Minister in that country. It may have been better to address to his own khalifa, Mirza Masroor Ahmad sahib, in London.

Confused or just lies?
