Worlds most corrupt countries ranked in order

Transparency International has released its annual Corruption Perceptions index for 2014.

The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. A country or territory’s score indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).

The top ten most corrupt countries is listed as follows;

1. North Korea/Somalia
2. Sudan
3. Afghanistan
4. South Sudan
5. Iraq
6. Turkmenistan
7. Eritrea/Libya/Uzbekistan

Notice anything interesting about this list of the most corrupt countries in the World?

Eight out of the ten countries are ‘Islamic’ countries, with most having a Muslim population of over 90%.

Saudi Arabia, the country which supposedly exports and follows the absolute world of Allah came in 55th on the list, falling behind countries like Israel, Poland, Cyprus and Botswana.
