Remembering
It’s twenty one years since 911. We were at home when our son phoned in a panic.
“Where’s Erin ?” Our daughter,Erin was a newly wed and lived near Seattle. She was expecting her first baby.
We were waiting for the carpet cleaners .
The images of the towers played over and over in our minds . As we reflect on that day – the images still replay .
Many of us gathered in our churches. There weren’t any services that day . We just needed to be together .
Queen Elizabeth Dies
Another moment in time that we will remember . I was seven when she was crowned. We were given memorial medals. ( I wore mine on a chain – it would be valuable today if I hadn’t drilled that hole 😇)
Crowds gather in England as the Queen is brought from Scotland to London .
No real reason apart from the need to be together.
In these days I am so thankful for each of you. We gather just because we need to be together.
