In the latest episode of The Scrapyard, Travis - Virtua’s Partnership Manager, and Jaka - Virtua’s Marketing Manager, took centre stage for an engaging discussion. Kicking off the episode, Travis extended heartfelt Father’s Day wishes to all the fathers out there.

The episode began with an exciting lineup of events that Virtua is set to participate in. First on the list is the highly anticipated World Token Summit 2023 in Dubai. Jawad, Virtua’s CEO and co-founder, will be one of the keynote speakers, shedding light on the future of gaming and VR/AR in the Web3 space, while highlighting Virtua’s positioning in this dynamic market. The event, powered by the Cardano Foundation, promises to be a remarkable gathering of industry leaders and visionaries.

Simultaneously, Anis - Virtua’s CTO, will be attending the Pocket Gamer Event in Dubai. This event presents a valuable opportunity for Virtua to explore potential partnerships with game developers and gaming industry experts who are keen to adopt Virtua’s Games API.

Travis also shared his upcoming plans, mentioning two events that he will personally attend. The first is Rare Evo, taking place at the G. Rockies Resort in Denver. Rare Evo is a blockchain convention that welcomes multi-chain projects, communities, investors, and enthusiasts, fostering networking and partnership opportunities in the Web3 space. Travis will be actively seeking new partnerships to further Virtua’s growth.

Last but certainly not least, Travis highlighted the NFTLV (formerly known as CNFTcon). Virtua had a notable presence at the event last year, including an exciting partnership announcement with Shelby. This year, Virtua is eagerly anticipating the event and has some exciting announcements in store for attendees.

Shifting gears, Travis and Jaka delved into the 1.8 Update, which was released on Wednesday. The update introduced a highly anticipated feature: Voice over IP (VOIP), enabling seamless communication between players. This addition received a warm reception from the community. Additionally, the Small Crib underwent a makeover, resulting in a slightly larger and more appealing environment.

Wrapping up the episode, Travis and Jaka turned their attention to the latest quests released on Tuesday. Five thrilling new quests were introduced, with some requiring players to attach Cardano Summit 2021 NFTs in exchange for valuable resources. Others demanded the attachment of Cardano Island Miner Bots or Cardano Island and Monster Zone Vehicles, offering players unique and rewarding challenges.

With another exciting episode wrapped up, the Virtua community eagerly awaits next week’s edition of The Scrapyard, where new updates, events, and adventures will be unveiled. Stay tuned on Spotify and Apple Podcasts for more thrilling announcements and experiences to come!
