In the 19th episode of Dev Update, Anis, Maheen and Jaka discussed several exciting upcoming features. Anis provided a sneak peek into what users can expect in the near future. The first major addition mentioned is the expansion of quests. While currently passive, the future will bring the introduction of active quests, adding a new interactive element to the gameplay experience.

In addition to active quests, the hosts revealed that crafting will be introduced as a new feature. Players can look forward to engaging in the process of creating items or enhancing their existing ones, providing more opportunities for customization and progression within the game. Another exciting thing that will come in the near future are also seasons and of course also a lot of new games.

The majority of the mentioned upcoming features are expected to be rolled out in the third quarter (Q3) of the year. Players can look forward to experiencing these exciting additions to the in the near future. Third quarter (Q3) is going to be a highly significant period for Virtua.

The most important announcement was the introduction and testing of VoIP (Voice over IP) technology. This feature is set to be released with the upcoming 1.8 update, scheduled to launch in the second half of June. The release date will be announced in a timely manner.

VoIP will enable players to communicate with each other through voice chat, enhancing the social and interactive aspects of the game. The introduction of VoIP signifies a significant update for the Virtua community, offering a new way for players to engage and collaborate in real-time.

Following the release of update 1.8, the next update in the series will be update 1.9. That is also the last update of Cribs and Condos for now. After that the development team will shift their focus towards two major projects: the development of a mobile version of the game and integration with Ethereum. The mobile version of the game aims to bring the Virtua gaming experience to a wider audience, allowing players to enjoy the game on their smartphones.

One of the significant events during the week was the introduction of Virtua on NMKR by Travis. This suggests that Virtua, the game or platform being discussed, was presented or showcased to the NMKR community.

During the episode, Anis dedicated some words to the Avatar Builder feature, highlighting its significance and potential impact. The Avatar Builder allows players to have control over creating and customizing their avatars within Virtua. It offers the ability to choose various traits, animations, and personalization options, empowering players to shape their virtual identity.

By developing their own avatar system, Virtua can offer a more extensive range of customization options to players, allowing them to personalize their avatars with specific clothing items, accessories, and branded merchandise. This integration has the potential to enhance the immersive experience within the game and provide opportunities for players to showcase their individual style and preferences.
