In a nutshell, only OpenLink Virtuoso lets you experience the power and utility of data flow across data silos (accumulated over years via application-centric solutions) that drive critical digital transformation and enterprise agility increments enabled by Knowledge Graphs deployed using Linked Data principles.

Specifically, only OpenLink Virtuoso lets you —

  • Fully exploit the original Relational Model for Data Management — as a multi-model RDBMS that handles data (entity relationship types or relations) organized as Tables and/or RDF sentences/statements representable in Graph pictorial form and/or via linear notations such as RDF-Turtle, JSON-LD, RDF-XML, etc.
  • Use ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, or OLE DB connections from existing Applications and Services for accessing local and public Knowledge Graphs — e.g., the massive Linked Open Data Cloud comprising the likes of DBpedia, Wikidata, and many more.
  • Integrate Data across Disparate Data Sources, conceptually — that is, use Conceptual Data Virtualization to combine data across different databases using SQL and/or SPARQL en route to creating richer Information Dashboards that exploit Ontology-informed AI (a/k/a Explainable AI).
  • Address Privacy Challenges, declaratively, using Profile Knowledge Graphs to inform Data Access Policies based on Attribute-based Access Controls (ABAC) — for example, generation and processing of digitially signed emails that includes reasoning and inference as part of routines for better inbox management and spam control.
  • Replace Database Design Diagrams with functional Entity Relationship Model Graphs that manifest as a Knowledge Graph comprising Linked Data — without compromising performance, security, or platform independence.
  • Simplify Knowledge Graph construction using familiar interaction patterns e.g. bookmarking.
  • Build powerful terminology glossaries that aid information and knowledge sharing.
