VRSW — There and Back

Short Explanation

This article explains how to use the native Polygon bridge to move VRSW from Ethereum to Polygon and back.

When using the bridge the first time, you may need to add VRSW to the list of tokens.

Transfers may take from Ethereum to Polygon may take up to 30 mins.

Transfers from Polygon to Ethereum may take up to 3 hours.

Long Explanation and Screenshots

Add VRSW to your Token List

Click “Withdraw”, then click the arrow to select tokens. In the popup that appears, paste the VRSW token address.

then click “add it as custom token” link. On the following screen, click “Add VRSW to the custom token list”.

Confirm by clicking “I want to add VRSW” — VRSW is now in your list. Now you can close the window and get to bridging.

Note: you can also add VRSW in “Deposit” tab, in this case you will need the VRSW token address on Ethereum.

Bridging from Polygon to Ethereum

Click “Withdraw” in the bridge tabs, or use this link

Click the token selector and find VRSW in the token list. If it doesn’t appear, make sure to follow the instructions above in “Add VRSW to your Token List”. Enter the amount and click “Transfer”. Click “Continue” in the subsequent screens.

After the last “Continue” you will be requested to approve the transaction in your wallet. Wait until the “Checkpoint Arrived” appears, and click “Continue” again. Now approve the transaction on Ethereum to complete the transfer.

If you choose to close the “Transfer in Progress” window, you can always come back and click your transaction in the “Bridge” menu on the left and see the status of your transfer.

Bridging from Polygon to Ethereum may take from 45 minutes up to 3 hours.

Bridging from Ethereum to Polygon

Click the “Deposit” tab or use this link.

Select VRSW in the token list (see “Adding VRSW to your Token List” above if it doesn’t appear). Enter the amount, click “Transfer”. Then, click “Continue” in the subsequent popups.

You may be asked to approve spending VRSW, do it in your wallet and click “Continue” again. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

The “Transfer in Progress” will appear, followed by “Transfer en route”, and after about 20 minutes, a “Transfer Completed Successstully”
