Here at Visceral Gaming, we are happy to announce the opening of our Minecraft server. Currently the server is running standard minecraft running off version 1.14.3. The server has been set up to work as a community through survival mode. This means all builds require teamwork to gather resources and create a community project.
Server Goals
Our current main goal is to entice the community to grow together. We see it as a positive game for our community, as it offers that much needed respite at times from other games as well as being a solid game on its own. So why not come chill with friends to build and achieve objectives as well as grow the server community.
What’s ahead?
- An open day on the server where we all come together and build the server Lobby, in doing so, completing the first of many community projects on the server. On this day the Lobby will be opened up in creative mode where we can all come together and build something we can all be proud of (Inventories will be cleared after this event). Watch the updates channel on Discord for the planning of this event.
- Establishing a team of moderators that are active on the server, and working towards growing this into something we can be proud of.
Server Setup/Connection
1. Launch Minecraft 1.14.3
2. Connecting to the Server
Now that the game has loaded, you will be on the main menu for the game. Connecting to the server is as easy as clicking on “Multiplayer”.
Down the bottom of the “Multiplayer” window, you will see the following options. Click on “Add Server”.
Add the above details for the server, and then click “Add”.
Once the server has been added you can now join and start your journey on the community server.
