How To Get Microsoft Office 365 For Your School For Free (Part 1 of 3)

If you are a K-12 school, then your school is eligible for the free A1 tier of Office 365. This means for a cost of $0 per month per student or faculty, your whole school can have access to the essential applications and services. See partial list below, as can be found at https://products.office.com/en-us/academic/compare-office-365-education-plans

You will receive a full desktop version of OneNote with the ability to use class notebooks, as well as web versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and more.

As a school, you will likely require IT support to install some parts of the software to the various computers, but the majority of the work in acquiring the license will be handled over the cloud. The only tricky part would be the domain verification, where you would need access to backend domain information.
