V. Venesulia: Vicar Group, LLC provides innovative consulting, transformative training, and strategic management development, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth. We have three divisions which help us to serve our client base. Vicar Group’s Cyber Division provides consulting on emerging, present, and futurist technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital currencies, web3, and the metaverse, helping our clients with strategic intelligence to navigate the digital transformation. We provide cybersecurity awareness training, cyber intelligence, and information security best practices to help clients remain as risk-averse as possible. Our Organizational Development Division offers consulting on organizational architecture, executive leadership development, and workforce development — anything that falls under that banner — to clients needing help. Our Omnimedia Division uses the power of media to amplify the message of Vicar Group, LLC, and our partners beyond our organizational circles with television projects like Down to Business with V.

We closely monitor industry trends and advancements in technology, cybersecurity, and business to provide that strategic intelligence to our clients, partners, and our media audience.
As a result, I am able to provide thought leadership through speaking engagements, via my Newsmax Insider Column, InfoSector with V. Venesulia, and my television show, Down to Business with V.

V. Venesulia: My Newsmax Insider column, InfoSector with V. Venesulia, allows me a national platform to offer insights on a myriad of topics related to emerging and present technology, military affairs, and national security. Due to the challenges they pose, artificial intelligence and the dangers of deepfakes have been a big focus of mine.
Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies have gained significant attention, leading to widespread awareness among the public. However, I closely monitored these technologies well before establishing my consulting firm Vicar Group LLC in 2015. I am particularly concerned with technologies capable of producing deepfakes, which are driven by artificial intelligence technology and can have profound implications. I’ve made it my goal to bring awareness to it through my column at Newsmax and I get to partner with a great organization and awesome team of professionals as I do so.
Congratulations on wrapping up Season 3 of “Down to Business with V.” Can you reflect on any standout moments or themes from this season that you believe have resonated strongly with your audience and made a significant impact?
V. Venesulia: I’m enjoying seeing the vehicle of Down to Business with V. bring a message of warning as well as hope to viewers. It has been a great joy to see it gain traction and make an impact using the power of media. Informing the public of the attacks that fraudsters are using to exploit them with the hope that they can avoid falling prey is huge.
I also enjoyed the opportunity to encourage entrepreneurs on their journeys this season. One of the standout moments this season was when Daniel Gorlovetsky, the esteemed CEO of TLVTech, delivered his enlightening 9-Minute Masterclass on Funding. His appearances not only provided valuable insights on how to handle “The Hard Part of Being an Entrepreneur,” but also served as a beacon of encouragement for our viewers. The positive feedback we received from the audience was a testament to the impact of his teachings.
How has your experience in journalism informed your approach to discussing and analyzing critical issues?
V. Venesulia: It’s really the other way around. My entry into media and journalism came in part from my duty to help communicate critical messages to the public regarding cybersecurity, information security, and fraud mitigation.
As a consultant, I research information and provide credible sources to my client base while maintaining an objective and unbiased standpoint. The same principles apply to journalism, and I bring the same integrity to it. I have used my production company, Vicar Group Omnimedia, and my television show Down to Business with V. as a source of good in the world. My Newsmax Insider column, InfoSector with V. Venesulia, is a perfect and welcomed opportunity to amplify messages that matter, and to inform and protect the public.
In your discussions about malvertising, what key measures or strategies do you believe are essential for individuals and organizations to protect themselves from online threats in the ever-evolving landscape of digital advertising?
V. Venesulia: For those who might not be aware, “malvertising” is a portmanteau for malicious software, also known as malware and advertising. Malvertising describes the concept whereby cyber criminals target victims through ads to execute spyware, ransomware, and “drive-by downloads.
In my InfoSector with V. Venesulia column on Newsmax.com, I published an article entitled How Malvertising Could Marr Campaign ’24 , The article warns about malvertising, its implicit dangers, and what we need to be on the lookout for in the upcoming election and beyond. There are a few simple steps the public can take to protect themselves.

Given your expertise, can you share your insights on the potential impact of deep fakes in the context of elections, and how can we mitigate the risks associated with this emerging technology?
V. Venesulia: Artificial intelligence and the dangers of deepfakes have been a big focus of my articles in my Newsmax Insider column, Infosector with V. Venesulia. The potential for misinformation and disinformation in the political realm is particularly alarming.
In my article, “Remain Alert, Aware: Deepfakes Could Reshape Politics,” I cover how candidates in two separate foreign election campaigns became embroiled in scandals as a result of deepfake audio and video. I warn that the same threats that befell candidates abroad, could also be used in the U.S. against our political candidates. As citizens, we hold the power to remain aware, to not be deceived, and to ensure our democracy remains intact. The threat is real and it’s my duty and privilege to share the caveats, concerns, and best practices for prevention with the nation. .
Your contributions on the untold risks of AI are noteworthy. How can society navigate this new technology to the best of our ability?
V. Venesulia: It’s essential for people to familiarize themselves with emerging technologies because, not only are they on the horizon, they’re already here. I recommend keeping a pulse on what’s happening on the technology landscape, especially in today’s environment. Things are happening so quickly that if you’re standing by waiting to see what’s going to happen on the technology front, you’re already left behind.
Maintain a risk-averse mindset, but understand what technologies are out there, how they are being used, and understand the potential as well as the pitfalls. These technologies are not going anywhere. Specific applications might rise and fall, but overall, the technologies are progressing and becoming more sophisticated.
I think it’s crucial now more than ever to remain abreast of what’s happening in the realm of technology. It’s something that will affect every part of our personal and professional lives and impact our everyday activities.
