Lucille Reddic on Dedicating Her Life To Impacting The Lives of Others

Lucille Reddic helps married women create amazingly happy marriages. She encourages wives to join the women’s collective which she founded called, Chosen Wives Tribe. Lucille has dedicated her life to encouraging women to keep their families together.

Please tell us all about the Chosen Wives Tribe which you are the founder and how did you choose the name?

Lucille: Chosen Wives Tribe is a community of women committed to inspiring and empowering women to transform their minds and character to create happy marriages. There are at least 12 verses in the bible about Christians being chosen by God. We chose the name because a virtuous wife is chosen by God and her husband. There is a verse that states a wife of noble character is worth far more than rubies. The name is to inspire wives to feel confident in who they are and to remind them of the amazing qualities they bring to the marriage relationship.

What are some key components in your book “That Secret Sauce” for women who are facing marital hardships? What do you advise that they do or consider?

Lucille: I advise wives to consider, these key components for overcoming marital hardships:

  1. Our marriage belongs to God; therefore, we should be praying for our marriage and husband. We should ask God to help us to see him the way that he sees him.
  2. Communication! We need to speak our husband’s Love Language and listen with our heart. We need to know our Love Language so that we show him how to express love to us.
  3. Forgiveness, Romance, Lovemaking, and Handling Money Matters!

I believe these are the foundational components for creating a happy and healthy marriage.

From your perspective, what is an exceptional marriage?

Lucille: From my perspective, an exceptional marriage is where two people share their lives together in a way that supports them both. They create a partnership that is uniquely theirs. It is a marriage that contains mind-blowing intimacy inside and outside of the bedroom.

What do you think has kept your marriage healthy?

Lucille: There were several times early on in my 37year marriage that I wanted a divorce. God placed some amazing women in my life that encouraged me to see things in a different way. The choice was mine. I could focus on the positives, or I could focus on the negatives. There is a quote by Sandi Krakowski, “Whatever you feed will grow. Faith or fear. Worry or Confidence. Doubt or Belief! It’s your choice what grows.” I chose to pray for our marriage and trust in God for the harvest. It wasn’t easy, but God sustained my marriage despite me and my foolishness.

We’re deeply sorry about the loss of your daughter. We would love to know about her and her impactful legacy.

Lucille: Thank you for that. My daughter was 43 when she experienced a brain hemorrhage. She gave me 2 grandchildren. She was the life of the party wherever she went. She seemed to know everyone in Dallas. She was friendly, approachable, and helpful. For example, we were driving down the street one time and she saw a homeless woman walking barefoot. She made me turn around so she could give the woman her shoes. When she got back in the car she said, “Man, do you know how hard it’s going to be to find another good pair of orange mules?” We laughed so hard about that comment. So many of her friends comforted us after she transitioned. They all had some wild and crazy stories to share. I can truly say that she lived life to the fullest.

We understand that you are a part of the Book Profits Club, what do you do and what has the experience been like for you?

Lucille: The Book Profits Club was created by Taurea Avant. It is designed to help speakers, coaches, and network marketers write books to grow their businesses. I heard Taurea’s interview on the “Social Proof Podcast.” She invited the audience to attend her “10K Book Masterclass.” I later signed up for her “Three Day Book Camp” where I completed over 80% of my manuscript during those 3 days. Being a part of the group opened up a whole new world for me.

You see, I thought I was just writing a book to be able to get more speaking opportunities. However, Taurea helped me to see that I can charge for the services that I’d been giving away. She helped me leverage my book to develop multiple streams of income. In my opinion, the comradery and accountability that the group provides are incomparable.

Any announcements you would like to share at this time?

Lucille: In 2022, I will be starting the Chosen Wives Tribe Podcast as another way to encourage married women. I will continue promoting my book, “That Secret Sauce: Essential Ingredients for Creating an Exceptional Marriage (www.thatsecretsaucebook.com)." I will also be launching a course to help wives implement strategies to create happy and healthy marriages.

What do you want your legacy to look like?

Lucille: I am passionate about empowering married women who are feeling emotionally disconnected from their husbands to improve their communication skills to create happy and healthy marriages. I have a goal to save thousands of wives from the emotional pain and life disruption that divorce causes. Satan targets the family because he wants to destroy the legacy of the family. I want to disrupt his plan in the lives of as many families as I can.

I’d like wives that might be feeling helpless and disappointed about the way things are going in their marriage, to know that they are not alone. I am here to support them in their journey. Here is a free eBook — 7 Marriage Communication Mistakes to Avoid, 7tips.lucillereddic.com
