What is VISIONS ?

Visions is a publication of Visions Horizon Press, and simply put is at its core an online community curated for creators to share and connect with the world devoted to trailing an open-minded creative lifestyle. We believe that creativity is not something gifted and either owned or not. Creativity is a craft that can be cultivated, practiced and sharpened as a result. Also creativity should have a massage to enlighten humanity life with knowledge and truth. It must be original and inspirational with loyal intention to improve the quality of life and rationality of every person everywhere on this Earth.

What does VISIONS publish?

First the intention was to publish any creative work that support environment, nature and climate. But we resolved that to attain that goal, the world needs mindful educated tolerated citizens, which will never be accomplished except by deep consumption of all knowledge sides of humans life and environments: natural, social, biological, moral, chronological, historical, financial etc..

Since knowledge is a vast deep ocean, VISIONS decided to become a home and a nest for professional, new and emerging writers and provide a platform for those who feel their work has not been appreciated elsewhere and their voice was not heard enough. With that purpose in mind submissions are fairly open — meaning we are constantly adding new writers and encourage a diverse range of creative fiction and non-fiction writing.

The publication will not focus on definite topic, genre or style. All pieces that serve as addition on the experiences of the writer and the reader are welcomed. But, we favor works that delivers a message less through exposition than through artistry. The selections we select is often of any kind: lyrical, narrative, poetic, media and even training courses, but shouldn’t have any kind of promotion, applying to the rules of Medium. (you can revise the rules down at this page)

As a writer, spend some time reading the publication and checking out what the rest of the community is publishing in VISIONS. If you believe your story would fit well alongside those other pieces, please submit. You and your work are always appreciated. All the submissions, in our publication, that are featured by Medium will be published and featured in our site “Visions Horizon Press”. (under construction right now).

Basic rules to publish your articles and stories:

1- The writer can submit any published or unpublished work. You can submit any work of yours old or new. Even you can copy and paste or import your products from other sites.

2- Previously published stories can be submitted and as long the original publishing date is longer than 1 month ago.

3- One submission per day per writer. This allows for greater diversity and variety in the stories our readers have access to each day.

4- All writers should acquire the skills of submitting their pieces on Medium by themselves. That can be applied by educating yourself about Medium instructions through these links:

5- The editors serve more as curators and less as proof readers. It is the responsibility of the writer to make sure the submitted story is free of errors.

Cases that the story wouldn’t be accepted :

To be honest, it is rre that we need to reject a story altogether. However, there are a few reasons we may refuse to publish a story or request that it be substantially edited. These reasons include:

1) Hateful rhetoric or stories written for the express purpose of causing controversy have no place here. Simply apply to general rules of publications and respect others visions and standards.

2) Excessive spelling and grammatical errors.

3) Multiple submissions from a single writer in a day.

4) Story is not fully developed and does not contain a noticeable plot or idea, communicate a clear point or is otherwise simply free form/stream of consciousness/journaling. Additionally, stories usually are not accepted that generally fall in the “listicle” category and/or are personal development pieces written to instruct and not do not communicate a creative narrative.

5) The story has been previously published in another Medium publication. This simply comes down to common courtesy and a healthy respect for the other publications here on Medium. But you can publish any article from any publication or magazine outside Medium.
