Acruxgod, the visual artist that hit the sweet spot in the remake of the nike huarache gripp design.
Juravlea Mihai Daniel, also known as Acruxgod is a talented 18 years old graphic designer born in Romania but currently based in Forlimpopoli, Italy. He recently recreated the Nike Huarache Gripp shoe with a more Cyber-punk / futuristic approach.
He first made a 2D sketch of the shoe to show an overview of the design. The sketch was then turned into a realistic version through what seems like multiple original nike designs cut and pasted together to fit into a perfectly balanced shape.
The Cyber-punk version of the shoe is shown through different materials, textures and its arches that are bigger and more dynamic than the original shoe.
In addition to its futuristic redesign, Acruxgod also managed to incorporate some of his graphic design skills in its design as well.
The overall design is very well executed.
