The desert sands stretch far and wide
A land of heat, a land of thirst
But now the winds of change have sighed
And a new path must be traversed
The cacti stand like silent guards
As the world moves on around
The setting sun casts its last regards
As the desert is left behind
The journey may be long and hard
But the horizon holds a promise bright
For though the desert may be scarred
It’s time to step into the light
