My heart is poised

To be held again

In the sweet sweat

Of a convex love


Fog on the window

The rain slides down

Into dark crevasses

Of hardened wood


Water drops make

A pitter patter sound

As you breath deeply

I pull you closer


Spoons of perspiration

The storm passes

And we lie in our

Mutual satisfaction
