Why Ads?

Ads are the building blocks of any company and are responsible for the company's publicity, product, and sales generation. Ads if effectively generated can boost the sale of a product more than the competent in the market. No matter what product you are selling you need to create ads for it.

If you want to sell bubble gum, you need ads. If you want to sell shaving cream create an ad. If you want to sell a newly launched car create an effective ad with a famous brand ambassador.

Should We Add Women in Men Product’s Ads?

Is it necessary to put women in the ads for products that are specifically for men? For instance, in shaving cream ads we see female actresses promoting the shaving creams. Even if you see the ads of hair gels you will surely see women in it.

The most important question is why? And is it necessary?

Well, to answer this question we must remember that the companies are working on some strategies and plans and their motives are generating sales and profits. They have no problem hiring female or male actors for the promotion of their products. And if women generate more sales than men then there is nothing wrong with hiring them.

We should add women in the ads due to their talent not because they are sexy. It should be due to that they are relatable with the product not because some men want to see them. It should be because they can produce long-term sales not because of some temporary impact.

I feel sorry for women in this aspect. I am not against the inclusion of female stars in every ad but I am against how women’s bodies are objectified to sell products, brands, and TV shows.

Do Companies Really Rely on Hot Women?

Most companies no doubt hire hot women for the advertisement of their products. It is due to the psychology of the humans. Most of the men take an interest in the videos and ads in which hot female actresses are included. Most of the Men buy the products that are promoted by female stars.

They are showing women’s bodies or beauty by the wrong means. It builds a wrong image of women in society and it defames women’s respect in society. Some ads shoot sexual close shots of female actresses and these actresses do it for money and their needs but it is of no good for the company, the actress, and society’s reputation.

But it is not important and many top companies don’t rely on this policy. They made such ads in which no female actresses are involved and they generate a high volume of revenue.

If we discuss Pepsi, Lionel Messi is the brand ambassador. If we Nike Cristiano Ronaldo is the brand ambassador for the Lifetime. Virat Kohli is the brand ambassador of Audi company. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian is the brand ambassador of Balenciaga. So no matter whether you hire a man or a woman for your ads and advertisements, as long as you know how to showcase your product to the public you can conquer the market.

You can sell your products with the help of some hot star to a small group of people or maybe they just like your ads and not your products. Remember People only love to watch beauty but they are obsessed with talented superstars. They may like to watch sex but they love to follow their role models and some small hot females will never be someone’s role model.

So they might follow the superstars that are famous worldwide due to some talent more than the actors that showcase their bodies.

Making Ads According to Products

I am not against any strategy but making ads according to product is more beneficial. For example, if a superstar in real life loves exercise then it is better to hire him in a steroids ad than a superstar with more followers but less relatability. If you are making a beauty cream ad you need to hire a beautiful actress than a famous sports star.

Like if Ronaldo does any Coca-Cola ad after the incident of his interview it will make no sense. A man openly demoted a product in an interview and then if he does an advertisement for the same product people will never buy that product for this kind of sh*t.

You should hire Ronaldo or Messi in a football shoes ad and Madison Marsh, Kim Kardashian, Tess Annique, Mars Argo, or Roxanne Arlen for a beauty product ad.

Conclusion

We are filling the minds of people with advertisements that objectify women’s beauty and body. They have way more impact on humans than we think. I think that it will be important to notice and not tolerate the way women are being portrayed in advertisements today.

As a buyer, I prefer products not by watching ads but by reading about the benefits and side effects of using them.
