For years, I was a seasoned corporate professional with a decent salary, a wardrobe full of smart clothes, and a calendar that ran my life. I ticked all the boxes of a stable job, steady income, respectable LinkedIn profile.
I also carried around a quiet suitcase of regrets such as bad decisions, missed chances, things I wish I’d said, things I wish I hadn’t.
Then one day, I made a mistake that shook everything up. Not a little slip-up, not a forgotten email or double-booked meeting. This was big.
