Mask Detection Using AI

In the world movement of COVID-19, people are required to wear masks when they going out. In Vietnam, when you enter a building(Offices, shop, apartment, etc...), a security guard or someone checks with eyes if you are wearing a mask or not.

The mask detection displays warning when it detects a person who doesn’t wear a mask with camera.

Step 1:

Implement machine-learning.net with C# on desktop application.

Step 2:

Collect the pictures of people who are wearing a mask and no mask for training AI by manual.

Step 3:

Train AI by Custom Vision > Export AI model and apply it to the desktop application. > done.

A unity developer has developed this application only for 3 days, although he is not belonging to our AI team. “Any developers who are like me can handle this kind of easy application.” he said.
