To meet professional trading demand, ViteX is releasing official API to provide access to markets and real-time trading services for quantitative trading teams, projects, and individuals with such requests.
The official API has been upgraded to be safer, faster, and more stable compared to the previous version. Users can self-apply through the web exchange trading page, and follow the instructions to properly acquire an API private key.
The new API is compatible with the previous API version, however, the previous version will be terminated on May 15th. All previous API users, please integrate the new API as soon as possible.
**Note:
In order to secure your assets and trades, please use only reliable API client as trading client provided by a third-party can be subject to potential risks. Please DELETE the API if the associated Secret is exposed or forgotten, and re-apply for a new API.
How to Apply
Upon completing the following steps, view API Documentation for further support.
Step 1
Login to web exchange account and go to the trading page; under “More” select API.
Step 2: Create API
You will not be able to create an API if your VITE balance is less than 1,000.
One set of API Key and Secret is allowed for one address at any given time.
To avoid asset loss, Do NOT disclose your Access Key and Secret.
The default API package is set with the free base package at 10 transactions per minute, you may upgrade to packages with higher triggers at any time.
Step 3
Your Key and Secret will show up on the screen if the API is successfully created.
The Secret Key will be displayed only once and cannot be retrieved if lost, please keep it properly.
Step 4
Authorize delegation of desired trading pairs.
You may add or cancel the delegations at any time.
Step 5
Stake for the delegation address to acquire quota.
Staking is retrievable 3 days after submission.
Step 6
Upgrade to desired packages based on your trading demand.

The current API will no longer be accessible once deleted. Existing package will be retained and re-activated upon creation of a new API Key.
