Vite Labs is the creator of Vite, a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) based smart-contract distributed ledger network. Launched in 2019, Vite uses a Snapshot Chain structure to facilitate zero-fee transactions and optimize transaction speed, reliability, and security. Within the Vite ecosystem, Vite Labs has developed an order book based Decentralized Exchange (DEX) — ViteX, a multi-functional wallet(Vite App) and a Vite-based payment rail (VitePay). Vite Labs’ next ambition is ViteBridge, a universal cross-chain solution that allows easy asset transfer between any two chains in a decentralized manner.
We are currently looking for the following positions.
Blockchain Development Engineer
Key responsibilities:
- Technology selection and architecture design of blockchain products and solutions.
- Full-stack product development.
- Follow cutting-edge technologies and products. Optimize platform design and performance. Drive product development upgrades.
Requirements for candidates:
- Solid programming skills, proficient in data structure and algorithms.
- Hands-on full-stack development experience, able to use various front-end and back-end programming languages and development tools to complete the job.
- Proficient in Javascript, ES6, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue or React
- Working knowledge of Java technology stack, multi-thread programming, caching, message queue, and other common technologies.
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge with programming languages such as Go/Python/C++.
- Working knowledge with LevelDB, Memcache, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
- Mobile development experience.
- Past open-source project experience.

Software Architect / Senior Blockchain Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and development of the underlying protocol, consensus algorithm, virtual machine, and smart contract compiler of the blockchain ecosystem.
- Follow cutting-edge technologies in the blockchain space and provide solid insight into the trend of blockchain development.
Requirements for candidates:
- Working knowledge of at least two modern programming languages, such as Java/Python/C++/Rust/Golang, etc. High-concurrency system design and development experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of commonly used data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of modern open-source blockchain projects, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cosmos and Polkadot.
Nice to have:
- A good understanding of compilation principles, and solid knowledge of cryptography and security protocols.
- Knowledge of cross-chain and bridge technology, such as Tendermint, Substrate.
- Experience with LevelDB, Memcache, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.Experience in blockchain development, compiler development, or smart contract development.

Decentralized Exchange Strategy Lead
Vite Labs is looking for a Decentralized Exchange Strategy Lead to grow the ViteX (https://vitex.net/) ecosystem and accelerate its mainstream adoption among cryptocurrency traders.
We are looking for someone who
- is super-familiar with how ViteX works and become the go-to person in the community for how to improve and grow the DEX
- is a frequent user of many order-book DEXs / AMMs / staking pools, stay hyper up-to-date on developments in this space, recommend new features for ViteX from industry observation, customer feedback or your own ideas
- gets the aforementioned features prioritized and implemented by working with core developers and community developers (some features may be incorporated into a hackathon bounty, for instance)
- helps grow the DEX: Our DEX allows anyone to become an operator (listing Vite-native tokens) or become a gateway (listing cross-chain tokens). Work with colleagues and the community to grow the list of operators/gateways by various means, including but not limited to, launching campaigns for incentivizing new operators/gateways
- drives process for getting the DEX’s native token VX listed on exchanges
- besides the DEX responsibilities — takes on additional operational responsibilities that arise from time to time — be a swiss army knife (identify areas that need help in marketing/community/partnership/product, plan/create/propose solutions, and roll up their own sleeves to solve problems if need be)
- hustles, pays attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter, a problem-solver, not afraid to get hands dirty, and not here to “manage” but to get things done
- is preferably also a Mandarin speaker (some of the devs are based in China and prefer to communicate in Chinese, hence this preference. This is nice to have but not required.)

Operations Generalist
We’re hiring an operations generalist to help grow and nurture the exploding Vite ecosystem, and drive strategy implementation via coordination of different groups in the Vite Labs team.
Key responsibilities:
- Jumpstart Vite ecosystem projects by leading development of proof-of-concepts
- Advise ongoing Vite ecosystem projects on personnel, funding, growth
- Look for synergy among Vite ecosystem developers and be the glue between them
- Bring proven projects / business models to Vite chain
- Help set strategies and metrics for growth, oversee the progress of projects in marketing, community, development, and coordinate with these teams to make sure they work well together towards achieving Vite’s pre-established milestones
Requirements for candidates:
- 1yr+ work experience for crypto project(s)
- Ability to AGGRESSIVELY multi-task while paying EXCRUCIATING attention to detail
- Tendency to THRIVE in ultra fast-paced environment
- SUPERB communicator (native English speaker)
- Have a strong technical sense (although doesn’t need to be a coder) and experience in product development (working with other developers)
- Understand markets, social media, and community development specific to crypto
