The transfer should be carried out according to the following stages and steps:
Startup phase:
- Vite Labs announced that the ETH gateway and BSC gateway will be handed over to the community gateway operator selected by DAO.
2. Community gateway operator sets up ETH and BSC gateway instances
Trial operation stage (1 month):
1. Vite Labs updated relevant token information in ViteX, adding new gateway name/logo and new deposit/withdrawal links.
2.Vite Labs sends a certain number of main operating tokens (ETH-000, USDT-000 and other tokens with frequent deposit and withdrawal requirements) to the community gateway operator. In return, community gateway operators shall pre-deposit equivalent token assets of equal value in the Vite Labs gateway. The specific tokens and suggested amount can be seen in the article end. For tokens with relatively small demand, community operator can postpone the deposit based on actual request.
3. After a month of trial operation, if there are no major issues with the operation of the gateway. For example, gateway unavailability, slow deposit/withdrawal, fraud, and other problems reported by a group of users, etc., Vite Labs will complete transfer the ETH and BSC gateways to the community operator in next stage.
Completion stage
1. Vite Labs will transfer the following assets and ownership to thecommunity gateway operator.
2. All user deposit assets including ETH, USDT, etc on both Ethereum and BSC blockchain.
All Vite issued assets including ETH-000, USDT-000, etc. Ownership of related trading pairs Ownership of related tokens
3. Vite Labs announced the completion of the transfer and closed the current ETH and BSC gateways
Note:
- The ETH and BSC gateways will be transferred to community gateway operator at zero price.
- The ETH gateway and BSC gateway must be transferred to the same community gateway operator because of the token ownership of USDT cannot be shared.
3. VITE and VX is excluded from the transfer. Vite Labs will continue to operate VITE and VX gateways on Ethereum and BSC.
4. Since the gateway has been subsidizing the gas fee for ERC20 token transfers for a long time, the current ETH asset value in the ETH gateway is negative (the current balance minus the total remaining deposit amount). After converting all other surplus token assets at market prices, a gap of approximately 25 ETH still remains. The community gateway needs to make up for this gap by itself, and Vite Labs will not compensate for the cost. After the gateway transfer is completed, Vite Labs will no longer bear any further responsibility for this liability.
