As part of our development to meet the demands of the telco industry, we’re happy to announce support for partners’ own SMS Gateways.
With our newest API release, the Viva platform now allows easy integration with partners’ SMS gateways, agnostic to any communication protocol partners are providing. The API plugin is easily extensible so that new gateway types can be added without altering the existing solution.
The new mobile SMS component is decoupled from the main Viva application, integrated using message queues, implemented as a serverless Lambda application. This is another addition to our collection of services designed to be easily extensible, scalable and fault tolerant.
