As mince pie consumption rockets and #Whamaggeddon heats up, we thought: what better gift than insight into the Vixen team?
Well… maybe the new AirPods, but our point is that a lot has happened since our co-founders JP and Jen set up Vixen Labs in 2018.
A key part of strategy is reflection. It’s tempting to push straight on to the next project — and we’re as excited as you for a whole new decade — but we reckon it’s worth celebrating just a tad of what’s happened so far…

Everyone knows December birthdays are the worst, but JP and Jen officially set up Vixen 12 months ago.

8 (the latest Echo Show model) 📟 📺
So-called after its 8" HD screen, the Echo Show 8 is one of Amazon’s latest multimodal device. We love chatting multimodal, which is a key reason behind why we create #VoiceFirst experiences (not Voice only).
Who else is hoping that Emoji Version 14.0 will feature a smart speaker? Sadly, it wasn’t deemed worthy enough to sit alongside Fondue, Accordion or Piñata in the next release due 2020.

JP opened Day 2 of Voice Summit with his keynote speech, our Expert in Residence Frank Radice featured on 2 panels discussing the role of voice for media and broadcast, and Jen graced the stage no less than 4 times throughout the 3 days!

1 Broadgate Circle 🌱 🚇
Vixen Labs is currently based smack-bang in the middle of London, from which we’ve travelled to speak at events across Europe, Asia and the US.
We share a lovely office with the team at Resurgo Ventures on the seventh floor along with, as you’d imagine, many different smart speakers and plants. (#AgencyLife)
Spring 2020 will see us move to different premises as the building is due for renovation — so keep an eye on those socials for when we announce our new home.
