Like all companies, at Vizlegal we’ve been grappling with the changes to all of our lives that have resulted from the spread of the SARS-COV-2 virus.

As a company with a fully remote team, we’ve been relatively insulated from new social paradigms like “work from home”. But it’s been interesting watching people grappling with it for the first time.

We also realise that many practitioners — including 100s of our users — are not as familiar with working from home as we are. And we also know that for them, access to important legal information while at home is a key requirement. Some of those practitioners have been in touch with us over the past week.

Some systems don’t allow access while off-premises and others are not necessarily designed with mobile, tablet or laptops in mind — but more for office users with desktop machines. We’ve always felt that our users should have the power to access our tools and services on any device, wherever they are in the world, at any time. And this seems to be more important now than ever.

Our coverage now extends across 1 million legal documents, from multiple jurisdictions, including courts, tribunals and litigation data, with a current focus on wide coverage in the Irish jurisdiction.

We want to give all practitioners access to our tools and services and to that end — and as a first step — we are tripling the duration of the Vizlegal trial period from 10 days to 30 days. This gives any practitioner access to all of our tools and unique data sources — including Workplace Relations Commission decisions, High Court case tracking (and calendar management), and judgment search & alerts for CJEU, ECHR and UK & Ireland — along with many more sources.

You can signup for Vizlegal now by going here and registering. This will automatically give you 30 days of full access, for free.

You can also schedule a (remote) demo with me directly, by booking here.

Stay well,
