How to create several charts and tables for the same report data in Vizydrop

Sometimes there is a need to explore the same recordset using different data slices or using different visualization techniques. We are happy to announce the possibility to add several charts or tables for one report. Let me show some cases of using multiple views.

CASE #1: Using multiview to explore subsets of data

It is handy to use several views for quick filtering data. An example below shows financial stats over all continents. I have added two additional tabs to explore the data over Asia and Europe separately. Click on labels “Asia” and “Europe” to view the content of tabs.

CASE #2: Using multiview to represent data using another way or chart type

There is a need to explore the same set of data aggregating data over different categories or using different visualization techniques. The example below related to GitHub stats of our apps repositories contains two tabs — a table view and a chart view. The table shows total commits in Github by repositories. The chart in another tab shows the distribution of added code vs deleted by authors. Click “Chart View” label to explore the chart representation instead of the table.

You can change tabs orders with drag and drop or using “Move Left” and “Move Right” options in the view menu.

Vizydrop is a visualization platform, can be used standalone, in Fibery and as Trello power-up or in Targetprocess. It is available as Jira add-on in Atlassian Marketplace.
