Vending Machines NFT airdrops FREE NFTs to holders! Mint is almost finished!
Vending machines, historically, have been known for supplying us with lots of different goodies. But there is a crucial aspect to vending machine culture that needs to be emphasized — the user is in control. With a vending machine, YOU have the power to choose what you would like.
Think of the 2 Avax price for minting a fresh vending machine NFT to be a little bit synonymous with putting a few dollars into a real vending machine. You’re exchanging currency for the product that you’d like. The difference with VM NFT is that your exchange is more like a permanent purchase of the machine itself as well as a paid subscription with the supplier.
The wise far seers who have already purchased a VM NFT (or at least 140 of them in the case of one whale!) have already seen returns with three NFT aidrops. All VM NFT holders before February 7th 2022 received a VM Gorilla, a VM Hat, and a VM Tycoon. These are the digital supplies coming into your personal Web 3.0 vending machine.
Early adopters have also benefited by receiving royalties. A percentage of the proceeds for each new mint is sent directly to the VM holder based on the number of NFTs he or she owns. The aforementioned whale who purchased over 140 VMs made back at least 12 Avax in returns after only a few days. Of course this is an extreme example, but it shows that he is already receiving returns on his investment.
The best was the VM Tycoon airdrop. The collection sold out very fast, but VM NFT holders had already received one for free. The tycoons produce “Businesses” ($BIZ) which is exchangeable for $DOLLA at a 1:12 ratio or, more fruitfully, can be staked in order to constantly generate $DOLLA . $DOLLA is used to upgrade the Tycoon to produce more daily $BIZ. After launch, $BIZ was worth an average of around $12 per token. The developers also airdropped 100 $BIZ to each Tycoon, jumpstarting the token economy.
This is only just tip of the VM iceberg.
Every VM NFT holder received a VM Gorilla and a VM Hat. As of now, the Hat is simply some cool creative art that may have a use in the future or it may just be a free collectable item.
However, VM Gorilla will have a Play to Earn (P2E) use case which has already been teased on twitter and discord. In a subtle homage to the Donkey Kong Country games, the game is designed as a horizontal platformer where you must allow the Gorilla to make it to the other side while collecting as many coins as possible.
As you probably know, Web 3.0 P2E is now a multi-billion dollar industry. It’s fair to say that in a successful project such as Vending Machine, this game will be profitable and interesting. The community has learned a lot of hard lessons over the last few months and it is safe to say that we are, collectively, actively and consciously developing and evolving the Web 3.0 experience to be much safer, accessible, and fun.
The classic, proud tradition of vending service continues in an evolved form with the Vending Machine NFT community. There are now 4 official NFTs in this family, and there is a lot more exciting stuff on the horizon. We hope you will join us while we grow, share, and create together.
