Vending Machines NFT will be displayed on a big digital ad banner in Times Square on May 6th! Read on for more information and other updates and information on the VM Metaverse.

Legendary Vending Machines for legendary times
a Times Square debut
a big promotion for the whole Avalanche network

If you’re in USA, book your flight to New York City as soon as possible.

Gather your friends and tell them you’re gonna buy them some pizza, then load up the car with snacks and take a road trip across the USA so you arrive in New York City before May 6th. Your friends will complain with such statements as “Are we there yet?” or “Why is it taking so long to get to the pizza restaurant.” Ignore them and continue driving across the country (or the world — it doesn’t matter where you currently are) until you get to New York City. New York obviously has the best pizza in America, so it’s worth it just for that.

Why all this fuss to get to New York City on May 6th?

Because (in case you somehow missed the headline!),

Vending Machines NFT is making its public debut in the *2nd most popular urban intersection on Earth — and the most visited place in the world — Times Square!

Fun fact — New York was originally called New Amsterdam

Aza, founder of Vending Machines NFT, has made special arrangements for this promotional event to take place. Times Square is the most visited place in the world with over 131 million unique visitors annually. More than 360,000 pedestrians walk through Times Square every day, mostly tourists or visitors, so they’re there to sightsee and take in the NYC vibe which will soon include a big display of the best Vending Machines in the Metaverse. Times Square digital signage is legendary and the advertisements are seen by more people than perhaps anywhere else on Earth.

Aza wants to throw a VM NFT Holder party for anyone who happens to be in NYC on that date. Get in touch with him on Discord if you are interested.

Q2 Roadmap in Building Stage

Especially given the current market situations, it is safe to say that most of us are in a building and accumulation stage. If you have stablecoins on the side, then just a reminder that Avax is super undervalued right now and in my opinion it’s worth buying any Avax under $100. Of course, I’m biased, I own Avax and a VM NFT and I believe in it. So, always do your own research on VM and Avalanche and nothing I say is financial advice, but since you’re reading this far I’ll let you in on something — The VM NFT floor for common rarity is currently quite cheap and below mint. If you decide to buy off the secondary market then you’ll miss out on getting the previous three NFT airdrops but you will still qualify for future airdrops as long as your wallet contains a VM NFT. So, this is a way you could participate in the VM Metaverse at a discount. VM Comics Issue #2 is set to release basically any day now, so this could be your chance at acquiring one the upcoming airdrops at a discount. It’s not ideal — and you’ll see why when $VMN staking is introduced — but you will still qualify as being a VMNFT holder and the rewards and perks that come with that.

However, the perks of minting your own will soon be realized.

VM NFT continues to have a reputation as one that gives back to the community. Not only do VM NFT holders get NFT airdrops and rewards on secondary sales and mints, but it can also come with the knowledge that the founders of VM NFT are donating time and money to other people and projects and giving back in various ways, so I think it’s cool to be a part of this community and I’m excited for the development of the VM metaverse within the Avalanche network.

My Favorite Vending Machine of the Week

Blue and Yellow make green

My favorite VM NFT of this week combines a cool blue with its complementary electric buzz yellow. Inside we can clearly see why it has a “Swag” rarity rank as demonstrated by this upper-body mannequin drip with a matching black and yellow scheme. I think pink and green is an underappreciated color combo. I also appreciate the deeper shades of blue in the background. Overall, the light colors remind me of happy summer days.

Off to Times Square!

Alright, so I’ll see you in New York City in a few days, yeah? Okay, if you can’t make it for some reason (why not??) then I suppose you could watch the clip here:

Here is a link to the video in case the embed breaks.

Or, you could wait for the inevitable follow-up post showing the recording of the ad as it’s displayed in all its glory in Times Square on the 6th of May, 2022. But what’s the fun in that? If you’re able, go watch the Vending Machines get put on the big screen and then go for some excellent bagels or top tier pizza, or visit central park, or a cool museum, or pretty much whatever you may want — you’re in New York!
