Big updates for Vending Machines NFTs. A plan for staking with VM Hats NFTs has been announced, skyrocketing the floor price by over x3 as news spreads that VM Hats will be staked on Campfire for $VMN. VM Projects are building right now. Last week on May 6th, the people of New York were introduced to the VM Metaverse and Avalanche. Times Square is perhaps the most famous place on Earth for advertisements. The giant digital signage is actually a tourist attraction as the huge ads lighting up the concrete jungle and yellow taxi cabs are such a bold symbol of American culture.
Times Square is the most visited place in the world with over 131 million unique visitors annually. More than 360,000 pedestrians walk through Times Square every day, mostly tourists or visitors, so they’re there to sightsee and take in the NYC vibe.

The Vending Machines NFT promotion can be seen in the heart and center of Times Square! This is a big deal for Avalanche as it’s still not quite as mainstream as it would seem, for better or for worse. For example, Ethereum is known by mainstream outlets but Avalanche — even though it’s generally considered a superior blockchain — is still not widely adopted yet (although obviously this number is growing). I thank Aza and the VM NFTT team for helping all of us out with this! It’s a big win for the Avax community.

The VMNFT ad was running for a long time.
As far as I know, this is completely unprecedented. Never before have I heard about a mainstream ad for an Avalanche blockchain project, at least nothing in a major intersection like Times Square (I think I heard about Avalanche network posters in the subway, but it wasn’t for a specific project).
It’s awesome to see the community recognizing the potential of VMNFT and representing how cool and friendly most Avax users are.
It’s a win for everyone using Avalanche, as it’s to our benefit as a species that more people become aware of this low cost, fast, environmentally friendly blockchain filled with such awesome and innovative projects.
I still truly believe that Avalanche is vastly undervalued and it’s only a matter of time before triple digit Avax becomes the bottom rather than the top. The reality is that most people are just not aware of what’s going on with Avalanche yet — Ethereum still has dominance, but I really think we’re going to see way more Avalanche wallets being created as people wake up to the awesome utility of the subnets and the sheer creativity and innovation being made here — not to mention that Avalanche NFTs are usually much cheaper than on Ethereum, not to mention cheaper gas prices.

VM HATS FLOOR PRICE ROSE 350% WITH STAKING ANNOUNCEMENT!
Recently there has been an announcement that VM Hats will earn $VMN token by staking them on the Campfire marketplace, which is an exclusive place to mint and trade Avax NFTs.
Soon, you will be able to stake your VM Hat NFTs for this token, and of course people quickly swept the floor.

People love being able to stake their NFTs for some passive rewards. VM Hats will now have a purpose with staking utility on Campfire.
P2E with VM Gorillaz
This one is cool. All people who minted a VMNFT have a VM Gorilla already, so they are ready to roll when this next phase of the project initiates. Lots of time is going into development to ensure that it works perfectly on launch.
I expect VM Hats and VM Gorillas to mint out separately once people see how this works, not even counting the ones gained automatically from minting a VM NFT (you can buy hats and gorillas separately on the VM Projects page from the main website)

Vending Machine NFT, as part of its roadmap and whitepaper, will occasionally donate ETH to BuildOn.Org so that a school can be built somewhere in a nation that needs it. Recently, a vote was held for where people thought the next school should be built. Really nice stuff.
My Favorite VM NFT of the week
I like this one. It has a classic apple red against a warm blue backdrop. It reminds me of Pokémon Red and Blue versions on Gameboy, which reminds me of super fun times with friends when I was a kid. This is a traditional vending machine selling snacks and other goodies, like what you might see in real life. The bright purple floor is a nice touch. Overall, I would be happy to use one of these things if it was parked on some land in the metaverse somewhere. My girlfriend just got a VR headset and I have a new dream of VR VMNFT metaverse. I am getting excited just thinking about it.
In Bear Markets, We Keep Building
It’s sad what’s going on in the world markets now. The absolute corruption from financial groups taking advantage of people and tech exploits and dumping financial markets while they ride off into the sunset laughing like evil super villains, hoarding exploited funds like terrorists without any retribution. The hubris of Luna and allowing exploits to be exposed while ridiculing critics. The war in Ukraine and the needless waste of human lives and resources over hypernormalized political ideologies. It’s tough right now.
But VM still builds and continues. Avalanche is a fantastic technology and there are some amazing people involved in its growth. This has not changed. Crypto veterans have survived crashes and bear markets before, and although this might literally be the worst one we’ve ever experienced, we will continue to push forward.
Remember, there’s always people you can reach out to if you need to vent. Crypto, in a big way, is fundamentally social, as we are just making transactions with each other (well, besides the bots). It’s commerce and relationships like people have done for millennia, but just a bit technologically upgraded now.
I like this quote: “Tough times never last, but tough people do.”
