Happy to share that Lovely Professional University — LPU, India’s Largest University in terms of on-campus students in a single campus has joined VMware Academy. The engagement will benefit 500+ faculties and 5000+ students from LPU and rest of the state of Punjab in the next 15 months.

Apart from Faculties / Students getting access to VMware training and certifications, VMware also intends to set up the first vExperience Centers at LPU, where by students can get exposure to VMware products like vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and vCloud.

The VMware Student Club intends to engage students to build around VMware Open Source products ( https://vmware.github.io/ ) and host meetups / hackathons for the region.

We hope our effort in empowering next generation, takes India to being the “ Skill Destination of the world ”
