In this article, I will describe the usage of the prepositions with the genitive.
durch (by, through)
Examples:
Er fahrt durch die Stadt.
He drives through the city.
über (for, on, about)
Examples:
Sie schreibt ein Buch über Politik.
She is writting a book about politics.
entlang (along)
Examples:
Ich ging die Straße entlang.
I walked along the street.
