A thank you message from VoteRiders

We were thrilled to receive a nice thank you message from our July grantee, VoteRiders, this past week:

Hi everybody! I’m Kathleen Unger, the founder and president of VoteRiders.

Thank you so much to every member of Vocal Minority for raising a total of $5,315 for VoteRiders in July. Your contributions are ensuring that voters around the country and especially in Virgina—where there are highly competitive statewide elections this year—have the ID to vote.

In addition to funding our assistance so that voters have the ID and documents that are required to vote, your donations are also helping us to print and ship our VoteRiders voter ID information wallet cards for our Virginia voter ID coalition.

We’ve already distributed more than 12,000 of these cards and we need to reach more than 180,000 eligible Virginia voters who didn’t vote in 2016.
