The entire Vodra team has been hard at work preparing the initial release of the Vodra Platform. We have been working tirelessly with our pre-launch creators to onboard them to the platform and share what we have been working on.
Initial Features
This first release of the platform will be considered early access for both our creators and community members. Creators will be able to view a larger feature set, create accounts, and start receiving donations. We also have our livestream integrated tips and donations feature being tested with them as well.
On the other hand, audience members will be able to browse creator profiles, connect their MetaMask wallet, and start sending ERC20 $VDR donations to creators.
The reason behind releasing the platform early is to serve as a proof-of-concept for creators and talent agencies who are wondering how easy it is to transition to a cryptocurrency based monetization framework. It also allows our community members to begin viewing and keeping track of all of the new creators who join the Vodra Platform.
The Road to Come
While this marks a significant milestone for the project as a whole, we still have quite a journey ahead to implement all of the planned features on our roadmap.
The first major improvement that will be added to the platform is the implementation of livestream donations and a Polygon/Matic layer 2 solution for the Vodra Token ($VDR).
This will enable every creator on the platform to start integrating Vodra into their livestreams where they can receive live $VDR donations from their audience. This, combined with the virtually non-existent fees on Polygon, enables our creators to start making significant use of the platform.
Secondly, with the help of a renewed design team, we will be improving the overall look and feel of the platform. This will make Vodra creator pages an extremely attractive alternative to existing link aggregators. Creators will then be able to have all of their social links in one convenient place, while directing their audiences to new updates and projects they may be working on.
All of these improvements are slated for the first quarter of 2022. After which, we will be working on our next big feature sets which includes Crowdfunding & Project Voting, and Monthly Subscriptions & Rewards.
When and Where?
The Vodra Platform is a web-based application which will be accessible through a unique URL, or through our existing project website at vodra.io. We are currently onboarding all of our pre-launch creators who are propagating their accounts to the platform.
Once a significant amount of our creators have had an opportunity to sign on, we will be publicly pushing the platform itself to the rest of our community. This can be expected in the first week of January.
