The Evolution of Voice Life
Our Vision
Voice Life was founded in 2015 with the vision to create an unrestricted voice controlled smart home and business. As we evaluated, designed and tested our initial concepts it became clear the current existing charging systems and applications were limited. We concluded we needed to find a new solution not dependent upon the current charging models. Our approach was to see if it was possible to design a method to charge devices with flexibility and ease.
The Limitations
We examined available energy sources and current energy harvesting systems to assess their benefits and limitations. We concluded that all the current energy charging options would not fulfil our desire to create a practical far field wireless charging system. After extensive analysis we concluded that the ideal energy source would be the radio frequency waves available from the established transmission networks.
The Solution
Upon selection of our energy source we re-evaluated all the known charging systems and networks and realized we needed to design an updated network to facilitate far field wireless power transfer to a wide variety of electronic devices. Key network components would have to include:
- specific device identification
- encrypted transaction
- decentralized secure platform
- ability for self-execution and self-enforceable transaction
- flexibility to connect over a variety of structured wireless networks
We concluded the combination of a blockchain based identity and transaction, and a decentralized application platform (Smart Contract) would be the key network components.
We employed a variety of world-wide patent search engines to determine how novel was the idea of using radio frequency waves in conjunction with blockchain based network and a Smart Contract. Our extensive patent search review concluded that our design was not only unique but groundbreaking. More specially, this design could be the basis of a novel and extensive Intellectual Property (IP) domain. This domain would include, if employing radio frequency ways, a blockchain based network, a Smart Contract and any current and future transmission networks, the charging of any current and future devices that require a wireless charge.This realization in 2016 was the basis of a worldwide patent strategy to protect our novel and groundbreaking advancement.
Once we established our energy source, core network components and our IP strategy, we focused on the transceiver design. This process has been an evolving 6 1/2 year process and has included four Generations of prototypes that have progressively validated our suppositions. Each prototype included advancements in the transceiver design and applications that reflected our ongoing further refinements and understanding. A noteworthy refinement has been graphene incorporation into our prototypes. At the same time, we continued the IP protection of the new design features and the associated network advancements. Currently, with our Fourth Generation prototype we have developed and patented our “all-in-one” flexible terahertz far field wireless power transceiver.
