Who are you?
Before I became great,
I understood what it felt like be weak, how tough it is to love oneself, and how impossible it is to reach the completeness that one seeks.
Before I discovered the light, I experienced my fair proportion of darkness, when my world had fallen into a state of hopelessness and I didn’t realize how to get out.
For I have felt the tears it needed, the strength it takes to rise up again, when you are decomposed and battered, and all you know is agony.
You forget to love love if you haven’t witnessed the hate, until you lose the meaning of a grin and a laugh, and your broken heart.
I’ve witnessed bravery and strength.
It is necessary to get it correctly.the things that bind you
And fight with your head held high.I was one I didn’t intend to be before I became who I am now.
Before I discovered how to be myself, I was lost, bruised, and defeated!
