Passing

I am not the same as I was before

I cannot whine for the things I want anymore

I am like May slowly fading into June

Things I want are going away too soon

I did not realize the passage of time

as days, years, and weeks go by

My future is focused to be prepared

My future is bright without any fear

Don’t be scared. This is part of life

Because in the end, it will be alright
